Limit switch become red but motor doesn't stop

Limit switch become red but motor doesn't stop

Postby MarLi » 05 Dec 2016, 11:55

Hello,

Hopefully someone has the solution for the following:

On my MK2 board I connected limit switches NC in serie following the manual.

When i trigger the switch manualy the system response by giving a red tube but the motor doesn't stop. Even when I'm enable the invert function. The system does stop when I'm giving a e-stop by input 4.

Any solution for this to let it work? Then i can do the homming procedure.

Thanks!

Martijn

Please post your settings file. So your limit switches are NC and connected in series. This is for all axes?
So you use only three limit inputs? Limit 1 for X, Limit 2 for Y and Limit 3 for Z?
Try enabling "Single input" in settings under File/Settings/Limit.

I've uploaded the settings. The box Singel inpu is enabled.

Z-axis NC one switch
Y-axis NC two switches in serie
X-axis NC two switches in serie

Hopefully you can see the reason what I'm doinng wrong :)

How are your limits connected?
Describe all connections of limit switches, how are they connected and to which input..

Attached I've posted the way I connected it.

I use the 10T85U micro swtich and connect the wires to pin 1(C) and 2(NC) of the switch.
