Hi.

I have problem at the moment as when im running machine sometimes machine stops on me with out any errors on screen.
Machine sometimes will just stop spindle and drags cutter in to material and brake a cutter..
Sometimes will stop all together and no respond from software.
When that happen i need reset controller before i can do anything.

Any idea what can cost that ?
That is new machine that i have build any maybe i have set something wrong with software or controller.
I use cable and usb stick that come with controller.

Any help much appreciated.

All symptoms that you described earlier are indicating problems caused by a electromagnetic interference:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electroma ... terference

This occurrence interferes with the USB communication, which as a results drops and communication between controller and PC is terminated.

You see, electro motors, VFDs etc...are sources of EMI and therefore your wiring and other devices should be properly shielded and filtered. You would need to use shielded cables and use line filters for VFD. Also controller needs to use external power supply for its stable operation.

Try this:
run your machine but without the spindle turned on. Try just air cutting your piece so that we see if spindle and its interference is to blame.

You probably right.
I have all my controls in one box - drivers, vfd power supplies etc.
I do use external power supply for controller and also have EMI filter on incoming line.
I think i need re design all my wiring.

I was cutting last night and have no problems at all.

Thank you for your help anyway.
