Those tutorials are fantastic! They are really great. They are simple and to the point. They are wonderful for people who are just starting out with your controllers.

Also, new customers will be much more inclined to buy your controllers if they see sorts of tutorials.

Please make more!!

The tutorials and walk throughs of various features are a huge help....at least to me. I find that the naming convention of some of the features and the way that they're implemented to be a bit confusing, so seeing them in action, and more importantly why you click one instead of the other helps clear up the confusion.

I would like to see one on how you go about setting up the software and machine for an ATC. For instance, populating the tool table with tools, positions and etc.

Andrej,

Do you consider implementing of a wizard that could guide the users with the steps for this process? It give the the same instructions that you have written in your guide (perhaps with the pictures as well) and can then even move the machine and at the end get the feedback from the user. Thus the beginners will not face a steep learning curve and the experts will be not irritated as well as they should be able to choose to enter the values directly in the software.

Same (wizard) goes for the camera setup IMHO.

Regards,

Evgeni

p.s. Tooltips for the fields along with some context help is what I still miss as well...

It seems like I cannot edit my previous post as yet, I wanted to add that it seems you are using an automatic translator, the grammar is wrong.

We don't use automatic translator, but we do understand that there are some grammar irregularities.
Thank you for your understanding.

think there's a typo in http://www.planet-cnc.com/faq/moveable_sensor/ which will cause some confusion.. the Mark 3 connector where the text says;

Mk3:
Mk3 provides inputs for user-assigned functions. Tool sensor can be connected to any input pin of
INPUT connector, and assigned in software as Sensor.

The illustration is labeled MARK 2.

There is a problem with the link you provide at the start of this topic for the new tutorials. Either you've moved them, taken them down or there is an error in the URL. I get a 404 file not found error with a link directing me back to the home page. Of course I was never on the home page when I clicked the link!
