Loose Axis Nut

Postby Moonwalker » 09 Dec 2014, 11:53

I was cleaning my CNC and noticed that the X-axis nut has too much play. I think it needs replacement. This nut seems made of nylon or plastic.

So should I contact the manufacturer and get a replacement or maybe I can replace it with something better?

Getting the original part from manufacturer would probably be the best solution.
Or you could replace the complete lead screw with nut. But this is more complex task i guess.
